11+ London Grammar Schools
11+ London
There are seven London boroughs that have grammar schools that use an 11 plus exam as part of their admissions process. Click on the borough name for more information about the application process for schools in your borough. Parents will need to submit the Common Application Form (CAF) to their own local authority listing any school below and all of their other chosen schools in their order of preference irrespective of the Borough/County in which the school is located.
Barnet
All three of the grammar schools in Barnet use tests provided by GL Assessment. Test scores are age-standardised to ensure that younger children are not disadvantaged.

Bexley
All four grammar schools in Bexley use the Bexley Selection test which is provided by GL Assesment. Test scores are age-standardised to ensure that younger children are not disadvantaged. The test comprises two papers containing maths, English, VR and NVR.

Bromley
There are only two grammar schools in the London Borough of Bromley, St. Olaves for boys and Newstead Wood for girls. Each school sets its own entrance test.

Enfield
The Latymer School is the only grammar school in the London Borough of Enfield and as such competition for places is high.

Kingston upon Thames
The two grammar schools administered by Kingston LEA are The Tiffin Girls' School and Tiffin School (Boys). Each school sets its own entrance test.

Redbridge
Children applying to one of the two Redbridge grammar schools will sit the Redbridge 11+ exam which is supplied by GL Assessment.

Sutton
There are six grammar schools in Sutton that use the Sutton Eligibility Test (SET). Passing the SET means your child is eligible to be considered for a place at Greenshaw High School. For the other five schools passing the SET means your child is eligible to sit the second stage exams.
