How do I create a teaching class and add pupils?

What you can do here

Create a class.

• "Name" (required), "Subject Name" (required), "Subject", "Teacher" (required: "Class teacher is required")
• Email notifications: "Tick this box for the tutor linked to this teaching class to receive email notifications when pupils in this teaching class complete tests."
• Add pupils: pick from "Form Group Pupils" ("Select a Form Group", "No Group", "Tutors", "Parents"). They appear under "Selected Pupils", each with "REMOVE". "To add pupils to a Teaching Class from this page the pupils must be assigned to a Form Group. You can add pupils who are not in a Form Group to a Teaching Class from the Manage pupils page."
• A class message: "Show a message to this group", "Message", dates.

Then "Save" or "Cancel".

How to do it

1. Enter the "Name" and "Subject Name", pick the "Subject" and "Teacher".
2. Choose a Form Group under "Form Group Pupils" and add pupils. Check "Selected Pupils".
3. Optionally tick notifications and add a message.
4. Click "Save".
