Where is my markbook and how do I export data?

Where is my markbook and how do I export data?

What you can do here

"You can export some of the data we currently hold for your [pupils] and their tests."

  • The Test data extract "creates an overview of every test a [pupil] has either completed, or has in progress".
  • The Test reports show "how many questions the [pupils] answered incorrectly at the retest for each subject split into topics". Remember: "The greater the number the greater the need."
  • The data comes as a spreadsheet, so you can sort, filter and "import it into your markbook".

The sections:

  • Markbook (View/Export):
    • "Teaching Class": "Individual Teaching class markbook of tests done or in progress."
    • "All Tests": "Markbook of tests done or in progress with many filters, but not by teaching class."
    • "Mock Test Report": "Displays all Mock Test scores for all pupils to see pupil progress from one Mock Test to the next."
    • "Overdue": "Information about which adaptive tests are overdue and by whom."
    • "No work done": "A list of your pupils who haven't taken any tests in a timeframe."
    • "Pupil Levels": "Report of all pupil levels".
  • Subject (Export / Regenerate): "Export your subject data" for "Maths", "English", "Verbal Reasoning", "Non-Verbal Reasoning", "GCSE", "iGCSE Cambridge" and "iGCSE Edexcel".
  • Report (Users):
    • "Summary": "A summary report for an individual pupil highlighting strengths and weaknesses used to write school reports."
    • "[subject] Summary": for class teacher reports.
    • "Classes": "A summary report for a class highlighting strengths and weaknesses used to direct teaching."
  • Comparisons: "Compare 2 [pupils]." ("Compare [pupils]") and "Compare 2 teaching classes." ("Compare Classes").
  • Export:
    • "Pupils": "A list of your pupils and their group and usernames, etc."
    • "Parents": "A list of your parents and attached pupils."
    • "Teachers": "A list of your teachers."
  • "Pupils who have not taken any tests.": filter by "Subject" (for example "Adaptive Maths", "KS2 Arithmetic", "Mock Tests", "BOFAmaths", "11+ Maths Long"/"Short"), plus "Start Date" and "End Date". Then click "Export pupils with no test data".
  • Pop-up pickers: "Select the class you wish to view a summary for." ("View Class Summary"), "Select the class you wish to view test data for." ("View Class Test Data"), "Select the type of test data to view." ("View Mock Tests"), "Select a syllabus" (GCSE / iGCSE Cambridge / iGCSE Edexcel) and "Select a Subject".
