How do I upgrade my account?

What you can do here

"Upgrading your account will give you access to the shop and allow you to manage your own subscriptions.

It will also remove any parent/tutor/school relations to your account." You're asked to "update/confirm the details below", then submit with "Upgrade my account".

  • Form fields: "Email address" (required; "Invalid email" if it isn't one), "Exam date", "Time between tests" (from "3 Hours" to "1 Week"), "Syllabus", "Current Level" and "Target Level" (the last three are required where shown), "I agree to the full terms and conditions" (required: "Please agree to the terms and conditions"), and an optional "Yes, please keep me informed of BOFA changes and promotions…".
  • "Syllabus & Adaptive Test Settings": "Please select one of the following options:"
    • "1. Use the advanced AI Adaptive algorithm to schedule tests"
    • "2. Select your own schedule"
    • "3. Do not use the adaptive tests. (We do not recommend selecting this option)"
    • "4. Skip adaptive test page when viewing a [subject/page]."
"Please note Date of Birth must also be set to use the adaptive tests." There's an "Ability Start Level" per subject ("1 Star"/"2 Star"/"3 Star"), which "will only take effect if the child has not started any adaptive tests". "Edit Advanced Schedule Settings" opens "Adaptive Schedule Settings". There, English, Maths, Verbal and Non Verbal each have "Enabled", "Start Date" and "Wait Period" ("Auto Calculate" or "3 Hours"–"1 Week"). "By ticking this box you can override the settings below. We suggest you leave this unticked and let the system do this for you."
  • Tooltips: the exam date is used "so we can create an appropriate test schedule"; the training period "defaults to 1 month from today". The GCSE level list maps "Level 1 / Grade G" to "Level 9 / Grade A*".

How to do it
